The Mission:
To outline and design a mobile application that could be used to track and organise restoration projects. Restor-a-Track would need to provide for many aspects of restoration projects in a dynamic, simplified fashion. These aspects include: categorisation of parts, documentation, task management, budgeting, note-taking, and many more.
The Services:
Restor-a-Track was designed and prototyped in Adobe XD in order to make the app presentable in a manner that is close to final-product. The interface was designed to be approachable for those who are unfamiliar with intricate mobile interfaces, resulting in bold type, large buttons, and simple grid-based layouts.
THe Outcome:
As a complete application concept, Restor-a-Track presents itself as a project-centred organisational application tailor-made for the restoration community. With the major aspects of restoration projects able to be managed within the app, and new features made possible through digitalisation, Restor-a-Track brings restoration organisation into the application age.
The Impact:
Restor-a-Track’s ultimate mission is to ease the process of organising restoration projects, a process which often involves intricate parts, heavy documentation, and tedious task management. With mobile devices on hand at all times, this project organiser lightens the load of any restoration. It is a must for any restorer, both hobbyist and professional.
